Prices of flash-based 256MB MP3 players produced by local makers have
fallen by 14.3%-28.4% in the Taiwan retail market, according to sources in the
local retail channels. The main reason for the drop is likely due to local
makers and sales agents clearing their inventories as the 512MB rises in
popularity, said the sources.
