SINGAPORE : Samsung Electronics wants to give Apple and Creative Technology a
run for their money.
It plans to aggressively expand its MP3 market in Singapore - with new,
innovative offerings.
Samsung is currently third in this market - behind Apple and Creative.
The electronics giant also aims to grow its mobile phone market here from 20 to
25 percent.
Samsung says it will also be launching its first-ever notebook PC late next
month.
Samsung Electronics is expanding its product lines to tap the growing consumer
electronics market in Singapore.
And it sees the MP3 player market as its next growth driver.
