WASHINGTON -- D.C. police are looking for several suspects accused of stabbing a
man near the National Zoo and taking his digital music player.
Authorities said the victim was walking home about 1 a.m. when he was attacked
on the 2700 block of Macomb Street near Connecticut Avenue.
Police said the man is hospitalized with serious injuries.
Officer Scott Emmons says the victim was robbed of a portable music player.
Authorities don't have a good description of the attacker, and are asking for
the public's help.
Portable music players can retail for about $100 to $500. Authorities said
thieves have targeted them because they're extremely popular and easy to
conceal.
